- Reserve the pieces you want
- Sally will contact you with availability and details
We ship items USPS priority mail, with delivery confirmation and appropriate insurance, unless other arrangements are made.
A bit more detail:
When designing this site we were faced with a thorny little problem; Most of the time, most of the one-of-a-kind inventory is on the road and there is no guarantee that any one piece hasn't already been sold at a show or a private showing. This means a regular "shopping cart" is completely out of the question!
So we came up with this reservation system. When you reserve a piece it is immediately set aside from the catalog (so multiple shoppers don't try to buy the same piece). A list of reserved pieces (and who reserved what) is then compiled for Sally so she can check it against what she's sold.
For this to work, we need your email (don't worry, we do not give that out to anybody!), so you need to register on this site (it's simple and quick, just be sure you respond to the verification email!).
Click on the "sign in" link in the upper right,
or you can click on the "you must be signed in..." link on the catalog pages.
Once you are signed in (new accounts do require email verification), you will have the "Reserve this piece" option. To reserve it, just click the link!
When you have pieces reserved, they will show up in a list to the right (you may need to refresh the page to see them)
If you change your mind, you can return the item to the catalog by clicking on that list (which brings up the details) and clicking the "release reservation" link.
Alternative ways to order:
- You may use the contact tab to place an order. Sally will contact you with details and availability.
- You may email her directly at firstname.lastname@example.org (the contact tab generates an email to this account).
- You may call the studio at 510.893.9548
Some info we'll need if you are not using the reservation system; the name of the piece and the item number.
Here's a few more things you should know:
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express, PayPal and checks.
Because of the nature of unique art pieces, all sales are final and no cash refunds are given.
Sally may, at her discretion make an exchange within 30 days of purchase. A restocking fee may apply and the original shipping cost will not be refunded.
